SouthWest Style

Fashion has fallen into Southwestern states this season.
Patterns have been inspired by traditional Native American tribes along with natural materials. Some of these materials like felt and suede bring the perfect handmade touch to some of the most sophisticated of urban wear.

This is a new, fun, and unique look that I think will become pretty popular. I don't think it is really a look for me but it is for others.

Turkey Dinner Comfor

During Thanksgiving and the holidays is when we enter the dangerous comfort zone. We forget about diets we have been following and can only think about turkey, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie.

Since we enjoy our holiday dinners so much we find we need to start unbuttoning our jeans or even going to the last knot on our belts especially after leftovers.
There are now five new pair of leggings that can allow you to look relaxed without looking sloppy.  They give a nice look while making you feel comfortable when your stuffed! I definitely want to try them!!

Golden Rule

The deep golden yellow color which is now appearing on runways and in stores this fall is an unexpected popular color.
The rich, oversaturated hue is best when it is paired with clothes in luxe neutrals like grey, cream, and navy.
Adding this new favorite shade to your wardrobe this fall will definitely be a good fashion statement.
This is a fun color to try out!

The Blues

From bright cobalt to indigo many of the favorite accessories this fall are rich shades of blue.

The best way to wear these bold accessories is by adding them to  grey, black, and cream wardrobes. This pieces have textual depth to them like nubuck and suede which also goes well with rich fall fabrics such as flannel and cashmere.

These accessories will be a great addition to your fall look!

Bright and Brighter

Bright colors are becoming very popular this year. They are everywhere this fall. The favorite way to wear bright is as an accent color to a more neutral backdrop.

Add a bright flat or over sized neon necklace and jazz up that basic t-shirt and jean combo. You can take a casual look and make it into a bold statement.

All that Glitters

Glittery accessories are shining bright everywhere we look this season. Now more than ever we are seeing sparkly numbers on the street and at fashion week. This is a look that is usually worn on nights on the town.

Whether you are rocking a clutch with a t-shirt or platform heels with your favorite skinny jeans, they key to wearing this trend is to keep it simple. Keep it to one glittery piece per outfit and refrain from adding evening textures such as silk and velvet into your outfit.

For the boys

The shoe brand Jimmy Choo is going to ope its first standalone menswear store on November 2nd. The store will be in Mayfair's Burlington Arcade. So if your ever in London and want to buy some shoes go get some Jummy Choos!!

"I want it to feel as though you are walking into a gentleman's club, with all the luxurious appointments and comforts," said the label's founder and ceo Tamara Mellon. "It's a mod update on an English men's smoking lounge."

The store will have the brand's autumn/winter 2011-2012 collection and it will be two floors high. The collection will consist of black, glittering loafers, polished leather boot and embroidered slipper shoes.

V ersace for H&M

A new Donatella Versace collection is coming to H&M! The collection will consist of bright prints and bold colors. Also, for the first time for H&M there will be homeware.

"The collection for H&M is the essence of Versace. For the collaboration we've brought back from the archives, as well as from more recent collections, some of the icons of Versace, such as the bright prints, the Greek key and daring cuts. I can't wait to see how H&M's wide audience will make these pieces their own," says Donatella Versace. The collection is launching in 300 stores worldwide and online on November 17!

I think it is pretty exciting that H&M is broadening their styles. I think they will be successful with their brighter and more bold collections.

$19,000 shoeslaces

Someone actually made super expensive shoelaces. You think $39,000 is a lot of money for a backpack what about spending $19,000 for shoelaces? Now they are making shoelaces from pure gold or silver.

A company called Mr. Kennedy will make you two 24-cart gold laces for $19,000. These shoelaces take 120 hours to make by hand!! But one can only order 10 units. However, you can get up to 30 units for the silver shoelaces and they are $3,000.

I stick with regular shoelaces!!
